It's been an epic record breaking season out West this year, and the snow gods have dumped 400-700+ inches on many ski resorts and many are still stacking up the goods! Here is a list of ski resorts that plan to stay open into the month of May and beyond. Don't let your snow dreams end, get out there and explore some new resorts this spring, there's no better time!
TAHOE / SIERRA NEVADA
Squaw Valley, California: Daily through July 4th, possibly later.
Special note: Bring your season pass from any other resort for a discounted lift ticket.
Sugar Bowl, California: Weekends only through May 7th
Special note: Next season's passes on sale at the best price.
Mt. Rose, Nevada: Thursdays - Sundays through May 29th
Special note: $99 four packs.
Mammoth Mountain, California: Daily through July 4th, possibly later
Special note: $99 lodging and lift ticket deals now on sale for Spring.
Arapahoe Basin, Colorado: Daily through June 4th, likely at least one additional weekend
Special note: No place like "Snow Beach" in Spring, and A-Basin honors the Epic Pass!
Loveland, Colorado: Daily through May 7th, unlikely to extend further
Special note: Gotta love Loveland. Closest Spring resort to Denver.
Timberline Lodge, Oregon: Daily through September 4th
Special note: $119 Spring passes still on sale and usually honored through the first weekend in June.
Mt. Bachelor, Oregon: Daily through May 28th
Special note: Quite possibly the best place for sunny groomed runs in the nation, and the beer is pretty damn good too!
Mt. Hood Meadows, Oregon: Weekends only through May 6th, very unlikely to extend
Special Note: Come early, low altitude plus high humidity tends to make for some sticky terrain by mid day.

The Summit at Snoqualmie, Washington: Weekends only through May 7th
Special note: Just a short drive from Seattle and plenty of snow left.
Snowbird, Utah: Daily through May 14th and likely Fridays and Saturdays through the end of May.
Special note: The Bird is the Word! Open top to bottom with some epic snow conditions and plenty of terrain.
Beartooth Basin, Montana: May 27th through July 2nd
Special note: Beartooth Basin is a Summer only ski area with surface tows and hike to terrain. $45 lift tickets!
Killington Resort, Vermont: Unannounced, possibly June.
Special note: Typically the longest lift served season on the East.
Jay Peak, Vermont: Daily through May 7th
Special note: Still going into May despite a spotty Winter this year.
Banff (Lake Louise), Alberta: Daily through May 7th
Banff (Sunshine Village), Alberta: Daily through May 22nd
Mont Saint-Sauveur, Quebec: May 14th
Whistler / Blackcomb, British Columbia: Daily through May 22nd
Marmot Basin, Alberta: May 7th
